Festival Site Camping Permit Information

Please read the following information before
completing
the camping permit application.
- Overnight camping on the Festival grounds is available to Festival
ticket holders Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, June 25,
26, & 27, 2004 only.
- Cost: $35 PER VEHICLE for the weekend (one, two or three nights).
Your application must be postmarked by June 15, 2004 . After
this date, applications will be accepted only at the Festival
Camp Site starting Friday, June 25. The cost is $40 per vehicle
at the Camp Site. You may cancel your reservation before June
1, 2004 , for a full refund less a $5 processing fee. There are
no refunds after June 1.
- Vehicles and tents must be self contained; no hookups are available.
- Service and Guide Dogs are the only personal animals allowed
in the campground or on the Festival site.
- Skates, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, etc. may be used in
the campground, but they are not allowed on the Festival site.
- Portable toilets & sinks with non-potable water will be
set up in the campground area. The Soka University bathrooms
cannot be used before 8:30 AM and only by Festival ticket holders
after that time.
- No portable showers available on campsite. Due to health department
regulations, only inside self-contained units are permitted.
- Absolutely no dumping of waste materials is allowed on the
site.
- This is a dangerous high-risk fire area; no out of vehicle
cooking will be permitted - no propane fires, no open fires.
P lease use only battery operated lights for evening events.
- Events in the campground include Friday and Saturday campers'
potluck dinners, after hours song circles and jam sessions.
- There will be a Sunday morning tai chi session in the campgrounds.
- Camping area coordinators will be on duty during the weekend.
- For your own security, campers exiting and re-entering the
Festival site during the weekend will be required to display
a special pass in their windshield. The gates will be locked
at 12:00 midnight . The camping area coordinators will deal with
emergency exit situations.
- All vehicles must be off the grounds no later than 8:00 AM
Monday, June 28, 2004.
- CTMS WILL NOT HESITATE TO CALL THE LOST HILLS SHERIFF STATION
TO HAVE VIOLATORS REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES.
