ABOUT THE 2010 FALL EQUINOX FESTIVAL

Since 1978 The California Traditional Music Society has been bringing you concerts in the LA area such as the Summer Solstice Folk Music Festival. For the past three years, the solstice has been on hiatus, but this year we celebrate its return by bringing you the first ever Fall Equinox Folk Music, Dance, and Storytelling Festival!
CTMS is excited to be partnering with FolkWorks on this brand new event, and we hope to see you there.

In addition to the wide array of traditional musicians and bands at this years festival, the Fall Equinox is also a teaching festival. This means that most of the performers you see on stage will also be teaching workshops on their various instruments and genres! Be sure to check out your favorite performers in an intimate workshop setting, and leave the festival with a new level of knowledge in roots music of all sorts!
